Barbara J. Hanson, 69, passed away peacefully at the family home, Friday, November 16. She was born on June 11, 1938, in Porterville, CA, to Edward and Grace Hall. Barbara was a very active member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, East Wenatchee, and Beta Sigma Phi. We will greatly miss her.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Floyd, of Wenatchee; daughter, Cheryl Dofelmire of Kingston, ID; son, Robert (Vicki) Hanson of East Wenatchee; sister, Judy (David) Walizer of Auburn, CA; brother Edward (Susan) Hall of Sierraville, CA; numerous nieces and nephews; three grandchildren; and two great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Memorial will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Jones & Jones~Betts Funeral Home. The family suggests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to cancer research in her name.
