Dr. C. Melvin Foreman, 86, of Wenatchee, died Monday, November 13, 2006.

He was a professor at Seattle Pacific University for 37 years and had lived in Wenatchee for 14 years.

Survivors include his wife, Kay Foreman of Wenatchee; his children, Dale Foreman of Wenatchee, Jan Thun of Portland, Ore., and Jerry Foreman of Langley; his brothers, Roland Foreman of Corona del Mar, Calif., and Kenneth Foreman of Hawaii.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Wenatchee Free Methodist Church. Private family burial will be at the Wenatchee City Cemetery prior to services. Visitation will be 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Betts Funeral Service, Wenatchee.
