Edna (Gram) Couch, 86, died Sunday, May 11, 2008, in East Wenatchee, WA. She was born May 4, 1922, to Ervin and Mayme Lee (Brockwell) Roddy at Newberg, AR. Edna grew up and received her early education at Brockwell, AR. She married Cleo C. Couch on June 7, 1941, at Melbourne, AR. The family moved to Wenatchee in 1943. Edna was a homemaker and spent 25 years in restaurant cooking. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wenatchee.

Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Cleo Couch, in 1990. Survivors include a son, Ben (Judy) Couch of Rock Island, WA; a daughter, Sharon (Max) Van Hoven of East Wenatchee; four grandchildren, Marti (Danny) Daniels of Wenatchee, Lisa (David) Blue of East Wenatchee, Jeff Monroe of Wenatchee and Jason (Angie) Monroe of Poulsbo, WA; great-grandchildren, Kiley Blue of Wenatchee, Emily and Ainsley Monroe of Poulsbo, and Parker Daniels of East Wenatchee.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 15, 2008, at the Bethel Baptist Church in East Wenatchee. Viewing will be from 2 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, May 14, 2008 at Jones & Jones~Betts Funeral Home.
