Gary Louis Kirschner, 56, of Wenatchee, died Wednesday, November 29, 2006.

He was born in Wenatchee and lived in Cashmere before moving with his family to Wenatchee at an early age. He worked in the fruit industry, first helping his father with the family orchards in the Valley and later working at the family warehouse, Tri-Co Growers, in Monitor from 1964 to 1978. He then worked for Stemilt Growers for 28 years.

Survivors include his mother, Louise Kirschner; his brothers, Robert Kirschner of Friendswood, Texas, James Kirschner of Redmond, Stephen Kirschner of Seattle, and his twin brother, Gordon Kirschner of Wenatchee; and his sister, Paula Bennett of Wenatchee.

Funeral Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 625 S. Elliott, Wenatchee. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. today at Betts Funeral Service, 302 Ninth St., Wenatchee, with a vigil at 7 p.m.
