Geneva M. Craig, 90, passed away on December 28, 2007, to meet her Lord and Savior. Geneva was born July 26, 1917, in Keyes, CA, the third child of Wayne and Julia Sikes. She was Valedictorian of her Ceres, CA, high school class. On December 24, 1940, she married Lewis Brad Craig. After Brad came back from World War II in 1945, they bought and developed an 80-acre farm unit in Quincy, WA. She later moved back to California in 1961, earned an AA degree in business, and worked for Santa Clara County until retirement. Geneva eventually moved to Woodland, CA, and then to Turner, OR, before relocating to Wenatchee two years ago to be closer to her daughters. She loved going to church, enjoyed the arts and traveled extensively. Geneva spent hours crocheting and doing many different crafts.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother and sister; and one son, Gene Craig. Geneva is survived by daughters Marilynn (Oscar) Pearson of Wenatchee, and Gail Niderost of East Wenatchee; and by son Robert (Lora) Craig of Anchor Point, AK; as well as by ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
