Grace Neola Kuhnly went home to be with her Savior on November 9, 2007, surrounded by family and friends. Grace was the only daughter and youngest of three children born to Geroge and Helen (Schreiber) Hemberry. Born on June 6, 1920, in York, NE, Grace was raised on a farm near Benedict, NE, where she graduated from high school. In 1944, she moved with her parents to Cashmere to reunite with her brother, Don, and his family. She married Frederick P. Kuhnly in March, 1957, and retired from the telephone company to devote herself to being a homemaker. Fred and Grace enjoyed spending time with family and with their many friends in Quincy. They also enjoyed fishing together. Shortly after her husband passed away in 1981, Grace moved to Garden Terrace Apartments in Wenatchee where she lived for nearly 25 years. In July 2006, she moved to Western Saddlerock Adult Family Home where she resided until her death. Everywhere she lived, Grace made a great many good friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred; her stepdaughter, Myrna (Kuhnly) Mitchell; her parents; and her brothers, Donald Hemberry and Roland Hemberry.
