Julia E. English, 89, a long time Wenatchee Valley registered nurse, died Wednesday, April 9, 2008, in a Cashmere Rest Home. She was born April 6, 1919, at Spokane, WA, to John and Lila (White) McNeal. Julia worked as a nurse in the old Deaconess Hospital in Wenatchee, and for the Wenatchee Valley Clinic for over 30 years.

Survivors include her son, Craig (Roxie) English of East Wenatchee; a granddaughter, Nichole English of Apple Valley, CA; and sister-in-law, Pat (Elmer) Oberg of Wenatchee. Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Fred. At her request, there will be no service.
