Leo E. Quinn, 94, a longtime resident of the Wenatchee Valley, died March 12, 2007.  He was born November 3, 1912, in Nebraska to Rose and Jim Quinn.  He married Edna Fischer and they moved to the Wenatchee Valley area in 1944.  Edna died in 1965.  In 1967, he married Alpha Walls.  Leo worked for Eddy’s Bread Company for over 20 years and for The Wenatchee World for 15 years.  Leo trained and rode horses in his younger years in Nebraska, and enjoyed bowling, dancing and was an avid sports fan.  Leo was preceded in death by his father and mother; three brothers; one granddaughter; and his wives, Edna and Alpha.  He is survived by his daughters Leona Faye (Don) McCaskey of Sequim, WA, Eileen (Fred) Hall of Moscow, ID and Catherine (John) Brown of Lynnwood, WA; stepchildren Sheldon (Sherri) Davis of Mesa, AZ and Susan Walls of Kent, WA; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; two nephews and four nieces.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 625 S. Elliot Ave., Wenatchee.  In lieu of flowers, please give to your favorite charity.
