Margaret "Tossie" Taggert-Harrison

Margaret "Tossie" Taggert-Harrison passed away, at the age of 99, on January 15, 2008, at Vancouver, WA. She was born September 24, 1908, on The Isle of Man, England, the daughter of James and Margaret (Skillcorn) Taggart. Tossie married Sam Harrison in 1931 and they owned McKenzie's Restaurant and the Windmill Steakhouse in Wenatchee. Her favorite activities were shopping, traveling and eating split pea soup.

Tossie is survived by her daughter, Maxine McKee; grandchildren, Pattie Kieran, James Claxton, Ron Claxton and Glenda Merritt; nephews, Bill Harrison, Pete Harrison, John Severson and Shirley Mitchell; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Emiline Mansfield and Muriel Severson. There will be a Memorial Service in the spring.
