Marsha Teresa "Teri" Smith, 55, passed into the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, November 22, 2007, in Wenatchee. Teri was born June 18, 1952, in Wenatchee, the daughter of Eugene Marshall and Erma Jo Smith. She attended school in Wenatchee and moved to Mt. Pleasant, AR, with her family in 1967. Teri was a very creative person with many hobbies. she enjoyed such activities as arts and crafts, cooking, quilting and listening to music. She loved the outddors and took special interest in spreading the word of our Lord and Savior. Teri made the Wenatchee Valley her home when she moved back in 1976, with her daughter, Marci.

Teri's family and friends were very dear to her. She never met a stranger - she was interested in everyone and loved getting to know them. She donated to several charitable causes including the Christian Children's Fund, March of Dimes, Trinity Broadcasting Network, Rod Parsley Ministries and Kenneth Copeland Ministries, to name just a few. Teri will be missed by many family members and friends.

Survivors include her father, Eugene Marshall Smith; daughter, Marci Johnston and son-in-law, Vince Johnston; two granddaughters, Danielle Johnston and Lainie McKinley Johnston; sisters, Tina Mangan and Wayneen Logan; nephews, Sunny Fletcher and Skyler PomArleau; nieces, Shaylen PomArleau and Natalie Pottorff; uncles and aunts, Paul and Shirley King, Durwood and Sue McGaha and Norma McGaha; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Jeter McKinley and Thelma McGaha; mother, Erma Jo Smith; and uncle, Vaughn McGaha. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 30, 2007 at the Jones & Jones~Betts Chapel. Burial will follow at the Wenatchee Cemetery.
