Violet Mary Baergen, 82, of East Wenatchee, died Friday, June 15, 2007.
She was born in Ontario, Canada, and grew up in Cass Lake, Minn., before moving to the Wenatchee Valley in the early 1940s. She moved to Malaga in 1964, to Kennewick in 1976, then returned to the Wenatchee Valley in 2004. She worked in a variety of jobs, including orchardist, accountant, packing boss, dairy goat farmer, pizza parlor owner, Greyhound Bus manager and insurance agent.
Survivors include her husband, David Baergen of East Wenatchee; her children, Linda Worley of Wenatchee, Janet Van Horn of East Wenatchee and Bob Price of Chelan; her stepson, Bill Price of Minneapolis and New York; and her sister, Ruby Carlson of Minnesota.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bethel Baptist Church in East Wenatchee.
